For some foreign students, the Republic of Slovenia managed to provide the possibility of accommodation:

The faculties, where foreign students study, usually apply to specific high school dormitories regarding possible vacancies for non-subsidized stay of their foreign students (e.g. at School dormitory Vič (Dijaški dom Vič), Gerbičeva 52a, 1000 Ljubljana).
